After Fuente De Chafariz, there is an optional reciprocal climb to another Water Cavern driven into the mountain side. A great place for a picnic under a solitary Almond Tree.
The views back down the valley are quite stunning and well worth the effort of this additional section.
At the time of writing, the road was closed to traffic at this point pending repairs, so walking back along the LZ207 to the village is quite easy with little to no traffic.
