The Los Cocoteros-Charco del Palo trek is a gentle little wander along the north-east coast. Starting from the far end of the village of Los Cocoteros, along the coastal path to the outskirts of Charco del Palo. Returning along an inland dirt track past various abandoned small holdings.

The Risco Salinas Trail is about 10km and the ascent back up the Risco path is a bit of a slog. The views however are amazing, the beach is beautiful and the hike round the Salinas itself is really interesting. Recommendations for coffee or lunch options are in the village of Yé at Restaurante Volcan de La Corona.
The walk offers fantastic coastal views, golden sandy beaches and the chance to visit one of the oldest salt flats in the Canaries.
The Barranco de Manguia walk is about 2.5 – 3 hours (7.5km) depending on breaks and photo stops. The route is well marked and consists mostly of dirt tracks and mountain roads. The walk ascends from the valley floor up onto the Calle Gadifer de la Salle at Pico de Maramajo (450m).
The walk offers panoramic views of Teguise, Los Valles and the surrounding area. The Manguia ravine has some interesting old farm ruins to explore dating from the early 1900s.

This is a hike of about 1½ hours through the vineyard region of La Geria. The terrain is mostly dirt track, but the last 800m is along the LZ-30. This tarmac road section can be avoided with a 1.7km extension. There are many bodegas throughout the region together with a number of small charming villages.

This Tenegüime Ravine Walk is a variation of the Santa Margarita Los Valles and Guatiza Los Valles Majon walks. All start from Guatiza cemetery and follow the path up onto the lip of the right hand branch of the Tenegüime Ravine.
From here we have three possible loops up to the top of Los Valles and back round. All offer fantastic views and the chance to grab coffee and a cake or a spot of lunch half way round.

The Santa Margarita Los Valles walk is about 8.5km and usually takes between 2 and 3 hours depending on breaks and photo stops. There are some great views down into the Tenegüime ravine and the whole of the north eastern coastline.
There is a shorter route one can take of about 4km which avoids a steep section up and on towards the Restaurante Mirador de Los Valles.

This Teguise Walk is about a 2 – 3 hour walk depending on breaks and photo stops. It starts from the football stadium carpark in Teguise. The route is well marked and for the most part dirt roads. There is one gentle ascent where the path is quite rocky.
This Teguise walk takes you past the ruins of an old hermitage, Ermita de San José and up onto the ridgeway. At the top you join the Gadifer de la Salle dirt track and follow it back into the village.

The Barranco Poceta Rim Circle walk is a fairly easy walk, but some of the paths are quite narrow. The route is easy to follow and takes between 2 – 3 hours depending on water breaks and photo ops.
