The walk has a couple of short, but steep sections. The path however is not always easy to find. For a touch of authentic village life however I recommend a visit to Bar Bulin near the centre of the village.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-amber-color has-black-background-color has-text-color has-background\">Click the image to open the full walk description in a new tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guatiza Monta\u00f1a Calderetas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you know that Guatiza isn&#8217;t where it used to be and isn&#8217;t what it used to be called, intrigued?  I have a small write up in the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/lanzaworx.com\/walks\/?page_id=338\" target=\"_blank\">History<\/a> section if you&#8217;d  like to know more.  The website  <a href=\"https:\/\/historiadeteguise.com\/guatiza\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Historia de Teguise<\/a> has a lot of additional information about Guatiza and its history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a number of walks in the Guatiza area.  Mostly starting from either the Cactus Garden or the Petrol Station on the outskirts of the village.  From the Cactus Garden you can make very easy walks only 1 &#8211; 2 hours looping into Mala.
