It starts from the football stadium carpark in Teguise.   The route is well marked and for the most part dirt roads.  There is one gentle ascent where the path is quite rocky.  Teguise has many bars and restaurants, a couple of my favourites are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/jonniebakes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jonniebakes Artisan Bakery and Cafe<\/a><\/li><li> <a href=\"https:\/\/barlatahona.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bar Cafeter\u00eda La Tahona<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"directions\">Directions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the LZ-1 out of Arrecife and take the LZ-10 in Tahiche for Teguise. Straight over at the round-a-bout in Teguise and take the fourth left and first right. After a few minutes, branch left off Calle Gadifer de la Salle.  Another few minutes and you need to take the right hand fork, which brings you to  the ruins of Ermita de San Jos\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter
