The Punta Mujeres – Haria walk is about 4 – 5 hours depending on breaks, but is well marked throughout. There are two ascents, not steep and good under foot. It’s about 17km as measured on the map, so is probably a little longer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Haria, we took a coffee and cake break at Centro Cultural La Tegala, just across from the Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Directions – Punta  Mujeres<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Follow the LZ-1 out of Arrecife and take the first exit at the Tahiche round-a-bout. Continue along the LZ-1, past Costa Teguise, Guatiza and Mala. In Arrieta, straight ahead at the round-a-bout. Take the next right to continue on the LZ-1. Ignore the first turning for Punta\u00a0 Mujeres, take the second just after the Aloe Vera museum. Park up in the village, be careful not to park on Private Property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Walk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From the junction of Calle la Quemadas and the LZ-1, head north west up the dirt track, Camino Punta Mujeres. Continue ahead crossing the LZ-201. Almost at the top, Camino Punta Mujeres turns to the left, we take the dirt road ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route passes many small farms and eventually comes out onto the LZ-205. Turn right and follow the tarmac road for 660m, take the path on the left. The path climbs steadily up onto the bluff until it joins with Calle Molino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
