\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Short Extension &#8211; Crater Rim<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Lalaland cottage you can make a short excursion to the crater rim and back.  It is a short scramble up a picon slope, but the views are well worth the effort.  Take the small track with the cottage on your left.  Walk up over the bank and head for the electricity pylon.  Look to the picon plantation and see a break in the low wall and a hunters path up the slope to the crater&#8217;s rim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped stumble and doesn&#8217;t really go anywhere.  After admiring the views, retrace your steps to the cottage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lalaland Las Hoyas &#8211; Long Extension<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Lalaland cottage you can extend the walk into the Las Hoyas area.  Head southeast along the track, passing the cottage on the right.  Follow the track all the way down and turn right onto the LZ-203.   Continue up hill passing farms and small vineyards.  After about 400m turn right onto the dirt road Calle Cuervo. Signposted Camino Natural, Maguez, Haria and Teguise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul After about 40 minutes of climbing (approx 1.5km) take the track on the right.  follow this dirt road until it is joined by a farm track from the right.
