Osteopathy

Osteopathy highlights the interrelationships that exist between the musculoskeletal system and other organic systems, and on the other hand, between the mobility and freedom of these different systems and human health.

Osteopathy consists of body restructuring techniques that seek to heal people by finding the balance of all the parties involved. The emotional part is extremely important and has a direct relationship with ailments.

Treating a body as a whole is essential, and the global vision of the body for its perfect healing is necessary for us. Massage is the perfect complement to osteopathy

Massage

Massage is a method of assessment and manual treatment of those parts of the human body that present some ailment, or susceptible to present it, with the aim of improving pain, reducing or eliminating muscular tension, improving blood and lymphatic circulation and achieving relief of stress.

Under pressure, the rubbing and manipulation of the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments is an essential part of the massage, which can vary from a gentle caress to intense pressure.

The purpose of massage is to produce relaxing and therapeutic effects on the tissues of the nervous, muscular and respiratory systems, as well as on the local and general circulation of blood and lymph.

There are many different types of massage; the ones we carry out at Harmony are the following:

  • Osteopathy*
